Oh, where to start? Ah, I’ve got it.
About Me:
Basics: Female, 22, currently living in Las Vegas, NV. “Homoflexible”, Polyamorous, Gender-Fluid, Socialist, Satanist. Chaote through and through.
I believe in taking an intellectually honest approach to chaos magick, rather than a purely results oriented one. Anyone is entitled to pursue whichever paradigms interest them, but it is their duty to dedicate their time to learning as much as possible about it. If anything is worth doing, it’s worth doing genuinely. Otherwise, I’m just wasting time.
I’m a mixed bag, really. I can be shy and soft spoken. I can be obnoxious and rude. I like to say that I’m so open-minded that my brains are dripping out, which may or may not actually be happening. The short paragraph above says it all. Mostly, I’m just horrible at describing myself in one go. I don’t judge, nor do I bite if you come say hi to me. Generally, we can get along if you’re not a completely unempathetic narrow-minded asshole.
About the site:
I began thinking about seriously making this site around January 2011. I knew I wanted to be active in the internet occult scene and be able to contribute but I wasn’t sure how.
My thoughts turned to TOPY and it’s project Thee Sigil Garden. Of course TOPY collapsed long before I began thinking about it, but AIN23 brought a whole new ball game to the field.
I was new (and still am) at this, and I didn’t know anybody that could help me along. I knew I was going to go at it alone. I struggled between making a blog for my own personal journey or the present site. It’s obvious which one I chose. I’m glad I did because not only has it been a way for other people to come together - my Chaote Theory And Perspective facebook group has been thriving - but it’s also been the gateway for my own transformations. I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished so far, even though I’m always berating myself for not doing better.
So here we are, going into the new year. I can only hope that everything will continue to grow.
